Home Repair

We are an unpaid, all volunteer group and as we would like to help everyone we are experiencing a severe shortage of volunteers which has limited us in the number of families we can help. When operating, Chenango County Habitat for Humanity offers a Home Repair Program. With financing available up to $5000, we can assist qualifying families to perform necessary repairs to existing homes. These repairs include work needed to keep a home in a safe, livable condition. Past projects have included roofing, bathroom renovations, wheelchair ramps, and deck and stair construction.
